My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the graphic novel I've read and I feel like it was a great place to start.
It was amazing.Although saddening and absolutely tragic,it was beautiful.
This story is heart-wrenching,deeply moving and so interesting,I just flew through it.I enjoyed the illustrations,I found them really interesting as well.I liked that we get to see both the story of Nazi Germany and one man's experience of it all and the relationship between this man and his son in more of a contemporary period as his son interviews him about these happenings. This story was raw and it was real.

Overall a beautifully done, very very powerful read that I highly recommend.I very much look forward to reading Volume II.

To All the Boys I've Loved Before (To All the Boys I've Loved Before, #1)To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4.5 stars!

To All The Boys I've Loved Before tells the story of Lara Jean,a girl who doesn't openly admit her crushes, instead she writes them down, seals them and keeps them in a hatbox under her bed.But one day,a guy she used to like approaches her at school asking her about a letter he got from her.Lara Jean is confused and runs back home only to see no sign of her mother's teal hatbox and she realizes that all of her letters got sent out by someone and that all of the boys she has ever liked now know the truth, including her first kiss,a boy she met at church camp and even her sister's ex-boyfriend,Josh,and now,Lara Jean has to deal with the consequences

Warning:mild spoilers ahead,I think

THIS WAS SO CUTE
This was my first Jenny Han book and it did not dissapoint!
It was a very sweet,light,heart-warming read, but it wasn't just a love story like you would think from just the concept of the book. It also deals with family bonds and life experiences and it's just wonderful, okay

I really liked the character of Lara Jean and the way she developed throughout the whole book. She is very different than your usual protagonist and that's what made this contemporary stick out for me.Her bond with her sisters really touched me and I could relate, having a (twin)sister of my own. Some of the things she did were so awkward that you can't help but just be like: "Oh my god,Lara Jean"
I also really liked Peter, even though he seems like a douchey kind of guy,he really is not, there is so much more to him and it was interesting reading about his and Lara Jean's relationship.
Kitty was so adorable and fragile, yet so serious,straight-forward and tough at the same time. Her puppy obsession was the cutest
I'm not really sure how I feel about Margot,or Josh for that matter.Josh slightly annoyed me in a way at one part of the story, however,it's nothing comparing to some other characters(Genevieve.....)
I also kind of liked Chris, the way she doesn't care about what anybody thinks of her and just does whatever makes her happy
OH OH OH,THE HARRY POTTER REFERENCES,HOLY CRAP,I WAS SO HAPPY WHILE READING THAT CHAPTER

The only thing I didn't like is that the story was a bit predictable in some parts, but overall,it didn't ruin the experience for me.

I wouldn't say this is one of my top 5 favourite cotemporaries, but I still highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a cute,light,summer-ish read with adorable characters.

I'm so happy that this is a duology and the sequel's coming out this year because that ending would be annoying.Definitely will be picking it up!

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children, #1)Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

4.5 stars!
Can I just start off by saying how freaking beautifiul this book is? The design is just so amazing, this book is a work of art!

A very fun, interesting, unique and mysterious read.I really love the way the eerie vintage photography contemplates with the story and adds on to the overall creepiness. I did have a few minor problems with it,some things I didn't like, but they're not that important and don't change my opinion on this book when I say that it is absolutely fantastic! The beginning was a bit slow, but I was hooked to the story either way.Everything was on point, the unique story line as well as the characters, the atmosphere, the creepy aspect of it... I regret putting this off for so long and I can't wait to read the sequel! Highly recommend!

The Catcher in the Rye

The Catcher in the Rye - J.D. Salinger I have very mixed feelings about this book.It was a decent read, but I found Holden to be really annoying and had to stop a few times while reading because I couldn't handle him anymore.I tried to ignore it,but I had a hard time doing so.I'm not going to rate this one, again, because I'm not really sure how I feel about it,but it would probably be 3 stars.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them - J.K. Rowling Great read for fans of Harry Potter. I just wish there were more illustrations, drawings,it would make the creatures easier to imagine and it would make this little read even more enjoyable.

Anna Dressed in Blood

Anna Dressed in Blood - Kendare Blake 2.5 stars

He kills ghosts.
Cas Loowod inherited his father's unusual profession, he travels the world following legends and local stories, tracing and killing ghosts who sow death.
She's a ghost.
Anna Korlov "Anna dressed in blood" is a ghost of a brutally murdered girl possessed with a curse and rage. She has killed every person who dared to enter the abandoned Victorian house that was once her home. However, Anna spares Cas' life and he finds himself feeling something for this particular ghost. Can Cas discover the secret of Anna dressed in blood and rid her of her curse? Is their love is possible in the real world, outside the walls of her haunted house?
Anna dressed in blood is a dark and twisted story about a boy who kills the dead, but falls in love with Death herself.

Overall, an okay story, a bit interesting and a bit creepy.
Not what I really expected from this book, I had quite high expectations. In my opinion, there wasn't enough horror at all. Or humor. The attempts of humor or sarcasm in this book were so achingly bad.
I very much disliked the character of Cas, I found him really annoying.
At times, the book was boring and I have to say that things started to pick up only at the second half of the book.
I don't see the point of the love(INSTA-LOVE,UGH) story in this book at all,Anna is dead and Cas is alive, it just seemed pointless even trying.
On the plus side, despite its occasional boring moments,it's a quick read.
Not sure if I'll read the sequel, I don't think I'd be able to stand any more of Cas. So, most likely no.

The Transfer: A Divergent Story

Four: The Transfer: A Divergent Story - Veronica Roth The feels.

Summer and the City

Summer and the City - Candace Bushnell The first book was better. This one was kinda boring for the first 100 pages or so,Carrie was so annoying. But it's okay, overall.
